Switzerland Panoramas
Some of these are very wide, so just in case they don't show up fully on your screen!
Aletsch Glacier full panorama from the Mönch on the far left to the summit of the Jungfrau, second from the end, on the far right
Chillon Castle on the banks of Lake Geneva in Montreux.
Sunrise on the Matterhorn. If the weather conditions are right and you get up early enough, around 5am, as the sun rises and hits the summit, it lights it up spectacularly for a short period.
These shots were taken a minute or 2 apart and less than 5 minutes after the last one, the peak was completely covered in cloud.
Sorting out gear for the Swiss Alps!
Hoping to catch some video while taking photos. Gopro hero 4 mounted to the hot-shoe for some behind the scenes footage.
London by Helicopter
A stormy day over London, turning in the helicopter near Tower Bridge. Managed to capture this image. In the distance, right of centre, you can see Wembley's Arch.
I thought the moody lighting that day, gave London a kind of Gotham City look!
Syon House Lightshow - Timelapse
Syon House in Syon Park, West London during the Enchanted Woodland Lightshow. This was a selection of pictures showing some of the lighting effects.
TAKING & TAKEN
It's nice sometimes to get a different perspective on the photos you take and what could be better than some location shots showing the setting-up process.
Thanks to my brother Jeff for the candid shots!
The Lodge at Loch Ness gave a great Panoramic view from the 1st floor balcony.
The old Telford Bridge at Invermoriston had some great rock formations with many vantage points for shooting under the bridge.
The Falls of Foyers. A little bit of adjustment to the tripod and a suitable shooting location was found.
Dores Beach looking out onto Loch Ness. The rock formation along the beach made an interesting leading line in the foreground.
The Road to Skye. I let a few cars go past and then captured one just right, leaving a nice light trail around the bend. The wall leads you into the scene nicely.
River Fechlin meets River Foyers. Some fast flowing water around here and there are loads of huge boulders to clamber over and find a shooting location.
Loch Tarff on the Right with Scottish heather surrounding the landscape. In the distance the mountains add to the scene.
The Glenfinnan Viaduct. Looking for a good vantage point. We just missed the steam train a little while before we arrived.
Don't pack for the airport like this!
If you are planning a trip abroad, you would be strongly advised not to pack your camera equipment in your bag like this. It might attract unwelcome attention from airport security!
